Join us for a special Death & Mourning First Friday in October! Chester Wickwire has died! Experience a 19th Century wake this October at the 1890 House Museum. You’ll learn about Victorian funerary customs and superstitions. What were the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of mourning? Hear Victorian funeral music, sample period food, and learn the truth about the death of Cortland’s most famous citizen! Tours are at 5:30 / 6 / 6:30 / 7 / 7:30.
