Description
The vibe of an open mic + your poetry performed + community = Poetry Slam. Proceeds benefit the programs of Seven Valleys Health Coalition Poems on all themes welcome. The newly appointed Poet Laureate of Cortland County, Philip Asaph, will kick off the night. Side effects may include laughter, cheers, inspiration, or sporadic finger snaps (+funds for Seven Valley Health Coalition's programs). Both performers and listeners welcome! If you'd like to read a poem, you can let us know ahead of time by emailing Carol at carol@sevenvalleyshealth.org or just sign up at the event! Your $10 ticket supports the programs of Seven Valleys Health Coalition (www.sevenvalleyshealth.org). Beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks available.
