    New York Hemp Oil is an NYS licensed hemp processing company focused on producing high-quality USDA Certified Organic Hemp CBD. NYHO is a rapidly growing CBD company, focused on whole-person health. New York Hemp Oil provides high-quality CBD products straight from our farm to the bottle.
    We work in a beautiful office on Main Street in Cortland, NY and every day drive up to our beautiful 200-acre farm to eat lunch as a team prepared by our farm chef. Our organic farm is at the center of everything we do and if you join our team, you'll have access to free vegetables every week!

    Job Summary
    • The bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the company’s financial records.
    Responsibilities & Focus
    • Checks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
    • Classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
    • Debits, credits, and totals accounts.
    • Receives, records, and banks cash, checks and vouchers.
    • Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Compiles statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables of cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
    • Reconciles or notes and reports discrepancies found in records.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

    Education / Experience
    • Education: Associates degree.
    • Experience: 5+ years of QuickBooks. 
    • Experience: 2+ years or equivalent education and experience.
    • Knowledge of the packaging and shipping process preferred.
    • Knowledge of general office equipment required.
