    Job Description
    Job Summary
    We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated team player to support our ecommerce sales channel.  The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the digital marketing landscape, strong data analysis skills, excellent verbal and written communication, highly organized, a thirst for professional development, and a passion for hemp and cannabis.
    This is a full-time position based out of Head & Heal’s main office in Cortland, New York.  
    As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will work alongside the management team to develop, optimize, and manage integrated online marketing campaigns. In this role, you will have hands-on experience throughout the entire lifecycle of our digital marketing campaigns, from the planning phase and execution, through launch and ongoing optimization. 
     
    Responsibilities & Focus
    • Envision and execute campaigns across multiple channels
    • Build out email flows utilizing Klaviyo & Shopify integrations
    • Photography, Videography & Design
      • Create images, write copy, and design and send weekly newsletters 
      • Ability to design gifs
      • Photograph and edit photos for newsletters, blog posts, and promotional materials
      • Design photo shots, gather inspiration, and curate props
      • Work with photographer to execute quarterly photoshoots
      • Work with videographer to create product/educational videos for website
      • Shoot and edit videos for instagram/facebook/youtube
    • Shopify management 
      • Add and edit products on website
      • Ensure website is in compliance with FDA and credit card regulations
      • Edit and update website content
      • Manage freelance blog writers and create publishing schedule, review and edit content to ensure that it aligns with brand voice
    • Rewards program management 
      • Optimize Swell Rewards program 
      • Update and optimize rewards emails
      • Track rewards program success and improve and evolve program 
    • Website Reviews management - Yotpo
      • Approve/edit reviews as they are submitted
      • Edit custom questions as new products are added
      • Optimize review emails and track success of review program
    • Social media management 
      • Post daily to instagram, facebook, linkedin, and other social media channels
      • Create stories and highlights to feature farm story/brand story
      • Find and manage influencers - communicate, send free product, follow-up 
      • Manage brand partnerships and giveaways
    • Amazon
      • Work with agency to get brand setup on Amazon 
      • Manage marketing and ad budgets on Amazon

    • Experience guiding creative and visual direction on cross-channel campaigns
    • Creative copywriting ability including customer personas, taglines, headlines, USPs, ad copy, website copy, etc 
    • Project management skills
    • Process oriented thinker with exceptional attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and manage various complex projects simultaneously 
    • Experience leading/managing internal or external teams or campaigns while staying on schedule and on budget
    • Impeccable time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing operational tasks, while effectively managing changing internal priorities. 
    • Proven leadership skills in a results-driven environment   
    • Advanced  knowledge of Facebook business manager, Shopify and widely used Email Service Providers (Klaviyo, Mail Chimp, etc
     
    Education / Experience
    • 3 or more years of experience, excluding internships, in at least one of the following digital marketing focus areas: Paid Online Media (Paid Search, Shopping, Display, Video, Mobile Apps), Social Media Advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn), or Amazon Seller Central.
    • Ability to recognize trends and anomalies within large amounts of data.
    • Highly organized with attention to detail in a project management capacity.
    • Proven ability to write in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
    • Ability to adapt quickly, think strategically and seek solutions to the unfamiliar.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets as well as Google Slides, and Google Docs
    • Fluency within at least one of the following web analytics tools: Google Analytics, Optmyzr, SEMRush, Moz, Raven Tools, Hotjar, KISSmetrics, Trendkite.
    • Basic knowledge of HTML and familiarity with at least one of the following CMS systems: Shopify, WordPress, BigCommerce, Magento, Volusion.
    • Experience with at least one of the following email marketing platforms: MailChimp, Drip, Klaviyo, ConstantContact, or Bronto.
