Chamber of Commerce Hosts Congressman Anthony Brindisi
Cortland – US Congressman Brindisi will speak at a Chamber of Commerce Breakfast on March 21st at 8:30 at the Port Watson Mini Conference Center at 131 Port Watson Street, Cortland.
“This is an important timeframe in Washington with the President’s budget released, trade talks ongoing, immigration reform on the table, and policies considered that will impact local businesses. The input of our membership is instrumental in seeing pro-business features in the Capital.” Stated Chamber President Bob Haight. “Congressman Brindisi is a freshman Congressman and Cortland County is new to him, so it’s important for him to get a feel for our area and the businesses employing our residents.”
The Congressman has been asked to give his thoughts and priorities as well as telling us about himself. There will be time for questions from those in attendance. The program will conclude at 10:30.
All Chamber members and the public are welcome but a RSVP is required. Member fee of $25 and non-member fee of $40 includes a full buffet breakfast.
