Each year since 2002, the Rural Health Institute of New York has anonymously and confidentially surveyed Cortland County youth in 7th to 12th grade to better understand our community's emerging needs. This survey has expanded from a basic substance use prevention focus to include a variety of health-related risk and protective factors, including adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), mental health, as well as social and physical health indicators. Please join us for a complimentary lunch on November 21 and learn about the 2023 Cortland County youth survey highlights. Following Summer Barrows' presentation of the youth survey results, Melissa Simmons will showcase the programming implemented that is responsive to these data trends. Virtual attendance is an option!
